Make your Valentine's Day Special!

Whether you are celebrating alone, or celebrating a Pal-entine or a Gal-entine or even with your soul mate, setting a nice table can elevate your time together and feel very special. The menu doesn't have to be fancy or labour-intensive because a pretty table will make even spaghetti and meatballs look special.
Put a little love in for whomever you love - friends, family or lover.
We began by pulling out the under-used wedding china. Don't "save" it for a special occasion - life is a special occasion! We created a simple light meal of a charcuterie board and some sweet treats. You could also do take-out or cook if you like to do so.
DO go for a special centrepiece. Here we have a beautiful heart-shaped box of flowers. A box of flowers is the latest trend and it is so lovely. This one was hand-crafted by Louis Beales. Love, love, love!
Don't forget the candlelight. Again, you don't need to be romantically involved with someone to light candles. Everyone relaxes and is put at ease with the lights dimmed and a candle burning. Bonus: everyone looks ten years younger in candlelight! Fist pump!
