This side dish pairs well with many dishes. You can have Bacon Roasted Brussels Sprouts as part of your holiday meal, or with our favourite: Seared Scallops with Parsnip Puree (the recipe is here).
All you need is a package of frozen Brussels sprouts, a package of bacon, olive oil, salt, pepper, and butter.
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
Chop the bacon, place it in a glass dish, add the Brussels sprouts, pour a few tablespoons of olive oil over top, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then mix it all up well.
Add 3-tbsp of butter (divided in three parts) across the dish, then put in the oven for 40 minutes.
Halway through the cooking time, stir it all up to get everything covered in the juices and return to the oven.
You want the bacon crispy and the Brussel sprouts nicely browned.
That's it- it's extremely delicious and versatile.
